I think it comes down to the sanctity of free will.  People who think they're lucky tend to be lucky.  People's views of reality shape and change their personal experience.  Different points of view make things interesting.  I think we are all a lot more peaceful when we don't give a fuck what our fellow man holds to be true.  It is cool to entertain all points of view w/o prejudice.  I know a friend who would invite Jehovah's witnesses and Scientologists into his house and have a spirited conversation with them over coffee.  Sometimes they could get bent out of shape but he had fun.

I have experienced strange things.  I don't know what is going on.  I suspect that truth is stranger than fiction.

Why bother attempting to convince others???  That is merely evidence of one's own personal insecurities.

I would like to know.  I take the drugs.  I have more questions.

Maybe questions are better than answers?

Furthermore, I might point out that the same question conflicts with the mainstream scientific explanations; what caused the Big Bang? what caused whatever caused the Big Bang?

eh, i wouldnt say they're both the same. except if you label yourself as an Agnostic Atheist.

one believes that there is absolutely no god/gods, while the other is content that they wont know until they find out for themselves.

i consider myself an agnostic but not an atheist because i cant and wont say that there is or isn't a god simply because i don't know and wont know until i die.

i guess im agnostic too because I fully agree that we CANNOT PROVE whether god is real or not...

so I'm also agnostic towards santa claus, the easter bunny, tooth fairy etc etc

just because we cant prove its fake, doesnt mean its REAL.
