why the fuck did Spike stop showing Star Trek?

Seriously. I used to actually like Spike TV for my lazy days because they'd have like six straight hours of Star Trek. Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, all in a row. It was fucking awesome.

Then they replaced the first few hours with those nasty near-death videos, leaving just two hours of Voyager. Now even that's gone, replaced by more fucking CSI. CSI can lick my balls.

This sucks. :frown:

Damn that fucking sucks. One of the only shows worth actually turning that shit channel on for and its gone now. :sad:

I hear ya, I turned to Spike promptly at 4 today, like any other weekday and all I see is damn CSI going till past midnight.  WTF?  At least Scifi has the next gen on until crappy Raw/WWE hot sweaty men faking fighting garbage comes on.  What is this world coming to? :crankey:

I know what you mean man. Usually i watch Star Trek all day long, then i watch Stargate all night long lol. I watched some next generation today on spike, but it was later in the evening and not during the day.

Star trek is awesome for lazy days, as was Spike.
Hours upon hours of trekkie nerdiness.
Now, its been replaced by, as you said, more fucking CSI (as if we hadn't all already OD'ed on it), and homoerotic half naked sweaty man wrestling.

Spike fails.

At least scifi is still good for something.

TNG nerds to the rescue!!

I didn't know that TNG was still on SciFi..  When?  I remember when it got the boot from Spike and was replaced with just DS9 and Voyager.  If you ask me DS9 is pretty good, but Voyager is as bad as (if not worse than) Xena, Warrior Princess.  And for the record, CSI is one of the lamest shows EVAR.  So, so gay. 

I would like to hear which TNG episodes are you guys' favorites...

Mine =
  • THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!!!
  • The one where Picard gets stabbed through the heart in the past, and his whole life changes.. 
  • Hue the Borg
  • Riker goes nuts in the alien insane asylum

Voyager is on at 1am!!! I think today was just a fluke with the csi marathon...or so I hope! I know I'm kinda sad sometimes but I have actually started to enjoy voyager this past year. I look forward to my 4 O'clock and 5 O'clock  Star Trek showings on Spike! I was very disappointed today!



Its funny though I really used to like CSI but all there is are repeats now!!

I always hated CSI, and Law & Order for that matter, honestly Star Trek comes across as more believable and lifelike to me than any of those retarded crime dramas.

I'd have a damn hard time picking a favorite TNG episode, but the Q ones are always great, and so were the Borg before they turned into the Team Rocket of Star Trek (showing up every week and then getting their pants beaten off).

Always loved Voyager too, though I can understand why some people wouldn't.

OMG! I've only heard the neutered version of that song on YTMND a long time ago. I loved the shit out of it, didn't realize there was a full version. :lol:

Wow, those are all my favorites too. I liked the one where data joins his brother and a bunch of independent borg that is bent on destroying every living thing.

I hate time travel on any show in any episode. It's annoying.

Here, here.  Third-rate, unrealistic portrayal of real CSI agents.  Not to mention the stories are horribly boring.  The show didn't deserve the 3-4 spin-offs it got.
