Ego Death, I like your tune, it's pretty dark.  What did you use to make it?  I'm trying to get into production right now with Reason but I always get frustrated with my drum patterns.

I use reason 3 still.  Need to update though.

I get stuck on my drum patterns too.  Making music isn't easy.  People try to tell me its easy but they havn't got a fucking clue.  I've been doing this shit for 7+ years and its still hard and I still havn't made a track I'm 100% happy with.

Breakbeat is really fun to mix, I like to switch it up with electro and house to keep it interesting, same tempos.

Dancing to it, however, for me at least, gets boring real fast.  The girls really seem to dig it though.

We always warm up our night with an hour or so of breakbeat, but by the time that's finished, man I'm fucking itching like a crack addict to start spinning the DnB.


On a somewhat related note, I just heard that our next big night is for the university freshers' week, and they want us to do a headphone disco with another couple of DJ's.  Now normally I wouldn't mind too much, but the other couple of DJ's will be spinning fucking INDY!  Indy???!  So half the people on the floor will be dancing to DnB and the other half to indy?  How is that supposed to work?  Also I fucking hate indy.  And who would dance to it at a headphone disco??? :mad2:
