Why do Farts make Noise???

last night, right as i got into bed, and pulled my ladys leg over my body to wrap ourselves in for the night...

i let out a fart...but this was no ordinary fart, it was bout 22 seconds long, and monotone the whooooooole time.

my but was closed up pretty tight as i was laying on it, so i think this has something to do with the length of it, but it got me to thinking, why do farts make noise...

i mean our butts are nothin like a whoopie cushion which makes noise for obvious reason...so why does a Fart make Noise???

it still doesnt make sense...

blow air through the tinyest straw and it doesnt make noise...

and my asshole isnt flappy like a whoopycushion, so i dont get it:shrug:

how do you know your asshole doesn't flap?  can you reach your head around and examine it at point blank range?  i bet when you let a big one it does.  maybe not to the extent that your lips do, but it's the same principle.

The asshole doesn't flap, it just vibrates at a certain frequncy.  If you recorded your fart, you could find the frequency of your asshole vibrations.  Maybe this is the key to finding the brown noise :strokebeard:

If you zoomed in on your asshole with a high def, high speed camera and the right lighting, you would see the "flappy asshole".
