casing getting lots of mycelia growth but no pins

i began my birthing by coldshocking a couple of batches. the batches at the time had very little exposed mycelia growth yet you could easily see mycelia growing just underneath. so i cold shocked them. now , 4 days later the mycelia is exposed throughout a large percentage of the casing layer but i do not see any pins or signs of pins forming. should i just relax and wait or should i add more casing?

Yes..

Many strains take 7 - 10 days for pins.. Just keep the casing layer moist and fan a few times a day, add light(a few hours each day atleast) and keep humidity high until you see pins then lower it to like 82-87 because the casing layer will make its own humidity..

Patience is key. I know that nothing seems to go "as fast as last time!" but you should be seeing the beginnings of pins soon.
