To see the light is not enough.. brainnoise

My friend started his and was sure that they would fail, and then low and behold they started pinning. The fungus is a lot tougher than you think. He used a verm bottom, crumbled between and a verm thin layer on top. He used one cake only, and the size of the container is about 6 x 12. He misted about 5 good blasts everyday. Suddenly, he had so many pins that its ridiculous, and he doesnt even attempt to try and find aborts, its impossible. His casing took about 10 days to pin.The first flush came out,(if you could call it that the damn things never stop pinning) and he picked about 30 good size shrooms, and continued to mist once a day. He found that if you air them out ALOT you get a lot quicker growth, and less fatties. These are PF's. He now is poised for a second flush, and he has no less than 500 to 1000 pins in his containers. (this is no bullshit, and you will see when the pics are developed). Thats for ONE cake.) Now they are grwoing so rapidly that he hardly has time to keep up with it. He is going from pin to full growth in less than twelve hours. its unbelievable.
He has learned that you get a feel for this almost immediatly. They start growing out incredibly fat...to much moisture. They come out thin and gnarly, not enough air. You adjust this until they come out looking healthy. If anybody is interested in the details of the hows whats and whys of his containers, formula etc, let me know..
