dry casing

My casing is real close to being colonized (I can see mycelium just below most of the surface) and growth seems to be slowing down. The problem now is that my casing is drying out. At first it was just a small batch in the middle, this morning, about 80 percent of the top casing layer was dry. I have been LIGHTY misting the casing with water and a small amount of hydrogen peroxide for about 4 days, once a day, trying hard not to over-wet the layer and the exposed mycelium. I think this may be due to changes in weather where I live (lots of rain). My humidity has been at or around 90% for the duration of the project. I just started dropping the temp to around 70-75 about 4 days ago as well. Should I mist more often? or should I quit misting all-together?

first stop the peroxide, it slows growth.
i'd give it a good misting now, while it's still just beneath the surface, trying to get your moisture content back up asap.
then, once it breaks thru, stop misting altogether.
