Spicy food question
    #877463 - 09/11/02 11:08 AM (15 years, 9 months ago)

I hope this thread doesn't degenerate into a typical OTD thread, but this is where we are supposed to ask our food questions now, so I'll ask it here.
I never used to like spicy food, but lately I have been eating all sorts of Latin, Indian, and Asian food that is very hot. I've gotten used to hot foods and have come to like them. The problem is that I can't seem to get used to the day after. These fire shits are driving me insane, is there any way to stop them? Since my mouth and stomach have gotten used to the heat, I figured my ass would follow suit, but so far it hasn't fallen into line. Will my sphincter get used to it, or will this be an ongoing problem. Is there anything I can eat that will cool the burn at the other end? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I like Indian spicey food the best... They seem to have a good ballance between hot and cool. Even though a dish is severly spicey it seems to cool down quick and the heat dont linger in your mouth...

As far as spicey wrecking your rectum? Hmm I duno, You could try drinking milk and doing shots with your meal. The milk will cool the heat and the alcohol will make it pass faster...

I ate some spicy-ass samosa for lunch, and I have incendiary heartburn right now, but I just pooed and all was AOK. When I was in Mexico I found that Pepto Bismol not only made my stomach better but also solidified my shaite somewhat. The pink stuff has magic powers. Drink lots of water.

I've got the same problem. It's the pepper seeds that do that. Better restaurants deseed their peppers. Try it if you're doing your own cooking.
