Ok so basically this is where im at i am using some birdseed (it is steeped and steralized) and i heard that i could just cut up a mushroom and plop a piece in and it will take off so i tryed that and it seams that there is no progres. any suggestions?
ok this is my second installment so i have some cakes going (pf style im a noob thats where i start) and they have been out of the jar for atleast 2 weeks and no signs of pinning whats a good way to innitiate that.
ok my third instalment i have some pf cakers and they have no signs of contam untill i droped the temp and then they just kinda stoped but they live and a couple have this yello orange (more light yellow than anything ) but the cake is totaly fine (except that part) what is up with that and how can i still make it have mushrooms?
ok my fourth....so what is a good way to keep the humidity 85-90 range because i seam to only be able to achieve 100 or 95+ and what is the very best bulk way of going? (preferably easy but im always up to a challenge)

Wow, only because people are being generous to me, am even going to bite.
Your leaving out a lot of details to get some accurate productive answers. A good size of what your asking you could answer yourself with a some searching.
The fact that you have no probs with maintaining high humidity MIGHT suggest that you have low fae.
What temps are these cakes sitting at?
One thing I think people are missing about summertime high temps is that the faster the mushrooms are growing (so the closer to optimal growth temp) the faster they are producing CO2 so therefore the more FAE it would require regardless of whats going on with RH

I bet you can get a decent crop at the higher temps ( i think I would prefer upper 70's) as long as your getting adequate FAE. As far as dealing with CO2 levels a lower temperature would allow spacing of FAE but it still equals out over time in numbers.
