Macaroni: Shells or Noodles?

So I get on this topic every now and then with my friends, and it seems I'm the only one adamant about my Velveeta shells and cheese.

I just don't see the point in measuring milk, and mixing nasty powdered cheese to tiny noodles when I can slather my delicious shells with gooey, cheesy goodness without hassle. Not to mention the taste is unmatched... ok maybe homemade, but we're talking store-bought here.

Just seein' what the shroomery concensus is.

Oh, and I was raised on cut up hotdogs in my mac and cheese, something I love to this day... anyone else?

do you mean elbows instead of noodles? doesn't matter to me as long as it isn't some cheap off brand that taste like a hole...homemade with real cheese ftw

Shells would be good.. I like KD spirals. I'm kinda sick of the elbow style, and want to venture into exotic noodle shape territory.
