Noodle the Ferret. (*Warning, Lots of Pictures!*)

I just wanted to share some pictures of Noodle, our new baby ferret. She is quite cute, and really feisty. She loves the other ferrets here, as well as the dogs and cats. We were worried because she is so small that she would be afraid of the dogs, but she marched right over and took a nap on the couch with my lab as soon as they met She's doing really well on her litter box training, and she's much less nippy than she was when we first brought her home about 1 week ago. She likes being held and falls asleep when you scratch her chin or around her ears. Here are a bunch of pictures that we've taken of her, as well as some of her ferret friends! Enjoy!
Here are a few of Noodle and LG (short for Little Guy). He was quite small when we first got him, and now he's the biggest ferret I've ever seen.

Our lab, Lucy, and Noodle cuddling.

Ferrets really like to chew on anything rubbery in texture. They were sifting through my purse and found a pacifier belonging to one of the kids that I watch. Noodle and Wolverine both really liked running around with it.

Noodle being cute

Our cat Cheddar playing with the ferrets

Hero and Villain playing

Wolverine, Rogue and Villain

Noodle again...

Lucy smelling the new arrival

Noodle getting a piggyback ride

Villain showing off his climbing skills

Lucy and Noodle again

I'm uploading some more right now, so I'll post a few more in a bit
Hope you liked them!

I'm glad you liked them
Ferrets are great pets, as long as you properly care for them. Lots of people get them thinking that they're like, hampsters or someshit, not realizing that they need a TON of out of cage play time, and need a lot of attention and care. Ours are litter box trained and love people, but that took a lot of time and work - ferrets can be really nippy and not very nice if you don't hold them a lot and train them not to nip you and stuff.
Here are some more pictures!!
Here are some of Noodle sleeping on me

Noodle's little paws

Rogue, our deaf ferret playing on our cat tree

Villain peeking out of the tee-pee thing.

Hero chilling

Wolverine likes goldfish :P

Here are a couple of my 2 dogs (Molly and Lucy) cuddling with one of my cats, Linea

and a few of Lucy cuddling with her "friend", the husky stuffed animal. She thinks it's real.

and, lastly, here are pictures of 2 foster dogs that we are getting here. Colton is coming next week, and Anika is coming on the 10th.
Colton...

and Anika!

^ I fell in love with that picture of her in the pound and begged my rescue to have her pulled. So they did!

here she is now - happy to be out of there

He says "It did." However, he trimmed it quite a bit because it was tickling my nose at night and waking me up. And he was eating it when he ate food. It was pretty long!

Love the pictures. You have a critter funhouse, it's like a petting zoo in your living room. Cheddar is getting so big! I remember when you brought him home he was just a teeny little thing.
I love that all your animals are friends with each other. It's like an animal multicultural community.
Did you guys set a date for your wedding yet?
PS: I love Suffers shirt. OMFG!

Bom! How are ya lady?!
We do have somewhat of a petting zoo, lol We're really lucky that they all get along so well - they all play and run around, and cuddle...it's great! A lot of people with animals have to deal with keeping them separated and so on and so forth, that must be such a pain in the ass! Cheddar is HUGE! His paws are ginormous. I just took a ton more pictures - I've just been in a photo kinda mood today I guess
We haven't set a date yet - we'll probably do either an early spring or early fall wedding, we haven't decided yet. He's been so busy with school that we've been putting off dealing with wedding plans. Plus, we both want to be able to go on a long honeymoon, so we're going to wait until that won't interfere with a lot of his classes and whatnot.
I got him that shirt for his birthday - thinkgeek.com is great!

I'm glad you liked them MOTH Lucy was acting great earlier today, and then flopped on the couch, refusing to play with the ferrets, and her fever is up again. So fucking frustrating!!! We'd love to have you guys over anytime - you're always welcome in our home

I've only had one camera of mine break, ever, actually. But right after mine broke, my fiance's broke, and that was a string of lousy luck!
I had the Canon Powershot Digital Elph SD700 that broke - my fiance bought me a Canon Powershot Digital Elph SD900....10 megapixels instead of 7...woot! His camera that broke is a Nikon D70 SLR. It's awesome. It still works, but the telephoto lense is broken and it won't zoom out to normal perspective, so you have to sort of back up to take pictures of things close up. It still takes great photos though, somehow. I just took a bunch with that camera actually, I'll try to upload a few of them. I love that camera! We try to be more careful with our cameras now....having animals increases the odds of shit getting broken by about 100%, in my opinion.

That t-shirt is totally precious...being Canadian, I appreciate it muchly lol.
Gr8 postings here. BTW~ since you seem to care, I'll recommend thatcha check out Ms. Bom's journal to see what she's been up to lately.

I'm so glad you like them!
I've gotten really into photography, largely in part due to my animals, I guess. It's fun being able to capture a moment in time where they happen to do something special, or cute. I'll be uploading a few more pictures in a bit, if you care to look
I'll def. check out Bom's journal! I always forget about that feature - thanks for the heads up!
