Need help on setting up a martha
    #8727810 -

I had made a post last week but nobody responded. What i have going on is i bought a 36" martha, i installed a f tier shelf i made out of pvc tubing i believe which is 1" thick. i still have to make a bottom due to the bottom there now is made of cloth, not good, i have that part figured out.

what i do not have figured out is the air/coolmist setup. my last greenhouse i experienced i thought the first time i installed the setup i thought i had it all set but i was wrong took a few trys before i got it the way it should be. except after i was done the plastic was torn up, looked like crap. so before i think what i have going now will work and end up destroying the martha i thought i would ask what is the best setup.

I have 1-1.5 inch tubing going from my cool mist up to the middle with a pvc pieve that is like an on/off ramp of a highway that is 1-1.5 inches which fits perfect. then i go from that piece straight up to the top part of the martha. Now when these two inlets come into the martha i will have them as high as i can go before it hits the bottom of the shelf above.

this is kinda what i see in most martha setups. but i was wondering if i should make 3 inlets- mid bottom, mid middle, top. should the inlets be at the back of the martha or on the sides? is there any special distance i need to know between each inlet like 3 feet from each other?

i think you're trying to make this more complicated than it really needs to be.

here is a martha tek, just follow it as close as you can with what you have

It sounds like you have it hooked up already. You need to seal it up, turn on the coolmist, and then see what kind of atmosphere you are creating.

You have come this far. Now you need to answer these questions: What is the temperature inside my setup? What is the humidity inside my setup? Do I have adequate lighting for my grow?

You can do this man. (We want pictures of your naked girlfriend rolling around in a bushel of shrooms) lol

just put the tube in the middle of the back panel near the top.. this will give you even air flow.. then, cut holes near the bottom.. this will ensure that humidity stays where its should, and also make sure it exchanges all the air from top to bottom.. With your martha full of trays, and your cool mist running 24/7, the humidity will stay between 85-95%.. You can adjust this by adding/subtracts slits/small holes in the martha.. the more holes, the lower the RH..

You can also slit 1-1.5 inch slits all over the martha, and set the cool mist on a timer inside the martha.. This DOES work.. RR suggested it, and its dope; especially to save some space.. but I found it inconvenient to refill every day.. but that's just my setup, as I work in a limited space.. but it works fine.. the moving air inside the martha helps draw in air through the slits and exchange it.. its a crazy concept, I know.. but it works..

like I said.. just put the tube on the back near the top.. Leave it running 24/7... and make a drip-catcher-thingy for the bottom and get that cloth out of there..

Some of you may have already seen these, but for those who have not, this is an excellent Martha type setup... It's 50 bucks, comes with it's own shelving and free shipping.
