This is one question I have ALWAYS wondered.

WTF is wrong with lil waynes voice? Is it studio? Anyone know? I've been looking everywhere, nothing so far. Post your guesses. If you haven't heard the guy's songs don't bother, if you have, guess with me.

I think Akon's voice is fucked up too.

Lil' Wayne is on A LOT of drugs pretty much all the time. Wouldn't you be if you had just sold a million albums in a week? I love love love Tha Carter III.

He sounds different on a lot of songs, his voice isn't really uniform.
Rumor is though syrup fucked up his voice beyond what it was.

I dunno, I think it's a cool sound. Definitely the purple shit though.

I don't listen to rap, but I will listen to the Lil' Wayne tracks with the messed up voice, just for the unique sound.

Just chew on some glass for a while, swallow and you get the voice. Then chew on an old truck bumper for a while so you can get a new grille...make them teeth flossin son!
