Lil' Wayne

I have been listening to Drought 3 this past weekend. I smoked one to many blunts to that CD, but I realized Lil' Wayne is awsome. His main stream stuff isn't as good, but I do belive that he is the best rapper alive. His flows are so simple, yet when I am high and listening to all the words, they seem so much more witty then most southern rappers these days.
Anyway, just letting you know. Discuss.

yeah to bad he does not write his own lyrics, which makes him a chump in my book..and i dont even listen to rap.

but my roomate does and lil wayne is his favorite. he informed me that he doesnt write his own words the other day, and IMO, what good is a rapper that isnt rapping his own words?!

That's bullshit. Lil' wayne is considered by many to be the best in the game right now because he doesn't write anything down, it's all in his head. He writes his own shit. Sure he works on some lines with other rappers but they all do. Gillie tha kid just accuses wayne of some bullshit because he is jealous since he blows and has no career.

Gillie is a bitch, weezy is the best.

Da Drought 3 was sick. Make sure to check out Da drought is over 2 and Da drought is over 3. Also check out purple codeine 13. Also Brisco is wayne's new talent. His first album The New Cash Money was sick.

Yeah, as far as the more commercial/mainstream stuff goes, he is definitely my favorite. All of my friends that listen to that stuff love him too, people around here (and probably everywhere because I know Source put him as the top rapper around right now) suck his dick like mad. He uses too many metaphors though, that's his downfall in my book.

Dedication & Dedication 2 are classic mixtapes. Better that the drought series, imo. Also, if you can find it, The Prefix was sick, as well.

I agrre the dedication 2 is what i am bumping right now. He rips every track on that CD. Lil Wayne is a great lyricist and i do believe that he does not have a ghost writer.

Most of one cd i've listened to of his has been "tha carter 2". Really its pretty good, the more i listened to it the more i liked.
