Hey Coda, I'm familiar with your growlog in the ethno forum. To refresh me, what size are your light(s), daily ambient temperatures, grow room temperatures, and exhaust fan rating in CFM?
Running a 400w hps in ambient temperatures of 90f or so, sometimes getting as high as 100f with a 240cfm exhaust and not having any overheating problems and don't cool with ac or anything.

its kinda dry around here, but that dont mean we cant get any, it just means prices are higher.
meh, once september rolls in, the harvest comes and everyone goes back to school, so there's good, cheap herb everywhere.
part of the reason it gets so dry this time of year is because all the kids are out of school and they smoke waaaaaay too much weed.
people are always comin up in August like, "Where's the weed, J?"
and I'm like:
"You smoked it all, dumbass."
seriously, if dumb rich kids were smart enough to pace themselves on vacation this shit would never happen.

I live in western washington and I am not dry. If you buy more then a twen at a time, maybe the dealers will cough up for you. Just a thought. Also, if you know there is a drought every year maybe next year save some money and put some weed in the freezer.
And Doble, if I ever get put in jail and the shroomery wants to help get me out, please be sure to help my case by posting my picture all over the forums talking about drug markets. Thanks.

My closet is 4x4x7, running a 430 watt HPS with 128 CFM fan. Ambient temps range from 90's to 100's like you (midwest area in august experiences some hot weather due to humidity). My whole problem comes from the fact that i have no where to vent the hot air too. Basically the fan pulls the heat off the light and expells it back into my bedroom. The only way ive been able to keep my room cool is by putting a small stanley blower on the outside vent which is situated near my AC vent. This allows cool air to get pushed into the tent while the hot air from the tent gets circulated at my ceiling with my ceiling fan. If i remove the blower, or keep my house at a temp higher then 68 F, my room skyrockets into the mid 80's.
Since i live in a rented place i really can't do any modifications i dont know what to do. The only thing i could think of was buying a dual flange for the exhaust, running some flex duct from the exhaust, and then attaching it to one of my ac vents. My thinking would be this would at least allow me to keep the warm air out of the room and take some of the burden off the AC. However this is just theory, im not sure it will actually work.,

It has always been very easy to get in my area.. I know and can find so many people that smoke/buy/sell it that it's ridiculous. I don't smoke anymore, but if I couldn't find people I would just grow it(done that in the past too). Takes patience but will save you lots in the long run.
