health insurance with a drug conviction?

i currently have no health insurance. it's not a matter of not being able to afford it. i've been denied due to "medical history" (busted for mushrooms about 3.5 years ago).

have any of you who have drug convictions been able to obtain insurance?

I'm not sure of this, but I wish you luck.

You took a drug that has no physical harm and actually has proven mental benefits and because the war on drugs, you're in this dilemma. :shrug:
