These are a Gymnopilus species.

Since I don't see any green stains I can't tell if its an active one or not.  Could be.

Should taste bitter.

From the picture I saw they might be Gymnopilus sp..  The description reads like it too.

Do they have any particular smell?

Agree with Alan. They could be an active species, but the pics offer no confirmation.

yeah hummmm they smell watery, not sure if that helps, its odd though it's like they smell more like water than water itself. And it grows in large familys , say a bout 15 or alot more per family.

could it be poisonus?

i can take more pictures... how would you like them?

Try to find out if any of them show greenish discoloration, that would be a good sign. Based on these pics (which are good quality, no problem there) I can't give clarity. I don't know either about the poisonousness of inactive gyms, but I would't care to find out by eating unconfirmed specimens. Anyway, they'll be bitter as hell (active or not)...

Like you said, never eat any mushroom that is unconfirmed.  However, to my knowledge, no inactive Gym is poisonous in the deadly sense.  In general, they taste pretty nasty.

I think they are a gym species dont count on finding any staining as a sign for activity, ive ate gyms before that did not stain blue/green at all and they were fine very active:thumbup:also ive read gym will stain a brownish color, most of the gyms i have found have stained more brown than green or blue. Ive had gyms that smelled sweet before that was cool, especially upon drying i dont know if this is normal but like i said its cool. The bottom of the stem(stipe)appears too taper down on sum of your pics, gyms are know for that too. Also the scaly appearance of the caps and spore print are another good sign of a gym species. Dont count on what i say as your only means of ID just trying too help. Make sure you have a 110% positive ID on those before ingestion.

sure i'll let you know ...

the weather is cold and the most altered ever, dry winters with late rains, humid summers, plants grow badly because of freezings(didn't happen before). Mj plants just didn't grew last season, i thought it was me but everyone i asked went through the same thing sooo.... the weather is pretty shitty jajaja  due to climate changes.

well i'll inform you of the gym ingestion, byeeeeeeeee!!!!

well they're not poisonous i already ate them, i simmered 6 mushrooms for about 20 minutes, and felt nothing but the relieving of a headache, i'll try with small pins and buttons and eating them fresh... and of course i'll let you know
