Yeah I foresaw a couple of those problems too, if we decide to go that route. As far as the bathroom reading, that's why I always thought it was gross. I don't want to touch other peopls books if they spent all kinds of time reading em on the pot. Although when you go to a used book store you get the same sort of deal.

We should stress the importance of offering a good book that someone will want. If I start the thread, I'll start it with 3 choices, a book about ibogaine, a sci-fi novel perhaps, or some sort of spiritual book.

I'm thinking potentially we can have the free book thread and also a shroomery book club. If we have the book club too, we'll have to expect some wear on the books. I take extra good care of my books, but I know some people don't. I also foresee that someone might take a lot longer to read a book than expected (because he or she is just too damn lazy and stoned haha), so a time limit would be good.

I think if the time limit is up and the owner of the book wants to lend it to someone else, they should be able to decide to do so. But if the reader wants an extension and it's cool with the owner, there we go.

If we send each book with enough shipping to get a book sent back every time we send one, I think it will work right.
