That's awesome man, they're coming up really well...

Remind me what did you do?

Did you inoculate with spores using a substrate then transfer to chips? Or did you transplant some mic. to your own chips? How did you get them to fruit? Naturally outside in the cold?

I'd love to do that in Sydney but there;s really no chance it doesn't get cold enough. I was thinking of getting a glass-doored fridge

It was straight forward
I transfered some myc from a patch not much just a few bits into woodchips that I had taken from a similar area, I did this at the start of may. I keep them in a well shaded area in my backyard and was watering every day with clean Grey Water, I keep them covered during the day with a plastic lid and uncover during the evening so they can soak up the cold nights. I have been watering them with a soluble fertilizer once a week and try and let them get wet when we get rain. I am rapt considering that I started with them from scratch at the start of may and now they are nice and meaty
I picked 10 about a week and a half ago I couldn't help myself and they went well.

Undergrounder I think a fridge might do well to keep them cold enough and a Polystyrene box keeps the cold in them well. I was considering this when the season finishes just to see if I could get a month or so extra outta them.
I am so proud of my little baby's

did you put anything in the bottom of the box like plastic or soil? or is it all just wood chips. and if there is soil in the bottom how much soil and how much wood chips

and once its established can you keep it for the next season and so on
