Is it possible to take a questionable spore print and make a viable spore syringe?
yes. that was kind of a wasted sentance; questionable? if it got a mold spore on it and you scrape it into your syringe its contaminated. if the area was exposed; but not infected OR you use only a portion of the print that had no contamination then youre ok. you cannot tell tho. if your prints were folded in half; then taped on all 3 sides and stored in a bag which contained a tear then you should be ok with all of them; just scrape lightly after you open them up; if the contams are on the other side of the paper you may be able just to use teh spores; just be careful and give it a shot on a dozen jars; your other alternative is to order more spores which would take a week anyway; by then you will have either germination or contamination in your test jars and you can work from there.
