brown widows in my basement.
    #8455136 -

Well my basement is full of brown widow spiders. I keep finding them on the back of stuff and kill them and all the egg sacs but they out number me by like 1000 to 1 and I'm pretty stoned. I been finding them for like 3 or 4 days now but I think I found the breeding ground lol.

So um what danger am I in here?

Will that spray that goes around the doors and widows and stuff and it drys them out you think that will work or will I need like special spider killing spray?

i dont think brown widows pose any threat, those are those spiders that leave little cotton looking sacs in the corners of your house right?

Just sounds like cobweb spiders to me.
What makes you think they are widows anyway?

From WIKI

Quote:
Like all Latrodectus species, L. geometricus has a medically significant neurotoxic venom. Dr. G.B. Edwards, a University of Florida arachnologist claims that brown widow venom is twice as potent as the black widow venom, but is usually confined to the bite area and surrounding tissue, as opposed to the Black Widow. Other sources say that the brown widow is less venomous than L mactans. Regardless, people who have been bitten typically describe the experience as very painful and extreme care should be taken when working or playing in the areas they inhabit.

Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.

We have these big bastards everywhere here in Florida. They are pretty much harmless though. They are really aggressive, however their bite will only give you a temporary welt.

LOL

If they are harmless spiders, leave them be especially if they're big ones, because those would eat smaller, perhaps dangerous spiders.

If its dangerous spiders, bug bomb them, but you'll probably get em back in no time anyway, all it needs its one eggsac and you got a cellar full of creepers again.

I was bit by one of these bastards.Left a welt that looked like I got hit with a 90 mile hour baseball on my calf. They like to hang out in a mangrove park by my house.

I don't know but I've been told. It's hard to run with the weight of gold                                                                  On the other hand I heard it said. It's just as hard with the weight of lead.
