Pinholes in Walls (question)
    #8397013 -

so i'm moving into a new apartment and I have tons of posters and I wanna take a few of them. I use the pins to put up the posters but as everyone knows those leave those tiny holes that will later screw me over with my security deposit when they see the holes.

my question is, is there any sort of device that fills those holes in? some sort of tiny i don't know... wall hole filler?

i hope i don't have to resort to those gummy things that wear off after a couple of months...

Yeah just get some spackle or something. Or just paint over it.

i just tried it... it worked rather fucking well if i say so myself, it's just hard to get it in the tiny holes, i ended up having to use a hairclip thingy.

Man up and buy some spackle. No sense half assing it with toothpaste.

it ain't half assing, looks as good as new.

that being said it probably hold up for long, so its inevitable that i'll have to buy some spackle.

Rather than using pins why don't you try using blue tak aka poster puddy and then you won't have to worry about messing up your posters or the walls

Usually the small holes left by thumbtacks aren't a concern for security deposits. Those can generally be painted over without spackle, so they don't bother charging people for them, because most apt. managers paint after a tenant moves out anyhow.
