gnats to worry about?

with my pinset still coming in on my casing, i noticed a gnat hanging out in my tub. is this whole casing doomed? any personal experiences. tips?

i would recommend surface treatment with Diatomaceous Earth.

gnats can become a major problem. get on that asap.

The best thing you can do is have positive pressure.

they dig in your casing and can introduce contams as well as disturb the myc network.

At first gnats are relatively harmless..but over time they will greatly damage your project..Gnats can harbor many contams and mold spores on their bodies..and when they land on your sterile casing..they can wreak havoc..Ask yourself how a knat got in the tub??..too much peeping I think.From now on..open the tub alot less than you think you have to.:thumbup:

garden department of some departments stores some of the time, but generaly, you'd want to find a regular nursery supply. it's cheap. you can get a pound fr $5-10, and then again, you can sometimes get 50 pounds for like $20
