Im covered in oil and blood

im installing a conversion kit in a clients car to allow it to operate on SVO (straight vegetable oil) as well as diesel, but part way through the process i managed to slice my hand open and bleed all over the place.

oi....

so, anyone want some info on running a car on grease?

yeah. thats what i want.

here are some plans that i have found for a Diesel motorcycle...gotta make a basic diesel work before we can make a biodiesel work. There are more regular diesel engines out there to use as a base platform. check it out.


as for a veggie oil car...why would anyone do this nowadays? It's too mainstream now. I doubt youd be able to get waste veggie oil for free anymore, and vegetable oil is WAY more expensive than gas.

that piece of shit? it's a 1988 Kawasaki Ninja 600R that i picked up in BAD shape for $200. it needed new handlebars, clutch/brake levers, coolant gaskets, .......basically everything. Im a broke college student, so this project was done on the cheap...to the max.

it came with plastics:


i rode it around like that for a while. One of the previous 30 owners (i assume) used it as a stunt bike, so it was still pretty shitty. Mis-matched bolts and glue held the plastics together.
Then i let my twin take it up the street as i was trying to teach him to be humble...he didnt listen and grabbed too much throttle and popped the clutch. He fell off the back and it ghost-rid down the street dodging cars before it crashed on the right side effectively braking off the exhaust, and doing more damage.
Long story short i decided to streetfighter it. The major mods were fixing the dents in the tank, making custom brackets to mount a Buell dual headlight, wiring, custom subframe, and custom fiberglass rear cowling to house electronic components.

i figured it might look cool as a rat bike:





Ill take more recent pictures next week as ill be going home for spring break. She looks a lot better now with the rear cowling painted, and the headlight lowered. I got the headlights significantly lower and more tucked inside by removing the guage cluster. Now, i use a bicycle speedometer for my speed, and i dont need the tach. I dont race or stunt...no need. this is my first bike, im still learning.
Ill have a newer pic in my sig this weekend. i promise.

damn...you know your shit. i wasn't expecting that post. it's obvious you're really into that hobby, which is cool.

but yeah, it looks way better as a "rat bike" if that's what that style is called. i'd like to get a motorcycle at some point for zipping around town, and maybe taking some long leisurely back-road road trips. when i do get one i'd like one of that style. that's the style i like. minimalist and simple, without all the bulky body bullshit and the saddle bags, and all that other unnecessary crap.

i believe thats what's referred to as a "naked" bike, as in no plastic.
