That could be hard. Its a small town. If the cameras got a glimpse of someone from there before they went out, that person would be easily identified. I talked to some friends who still live there and was told that a lot of people there are happy about the cameras. I was shocked.

least you don't live in London, their are cameras everywhere... come to think of it their probably mainly for intimidation, since they cant watch the cameras 24/7. hmmm but they can review them.... but if your wearing a ski mask.... than thats just a waste of money.

a few years ago canadian cops were caught abusing the
cameras by peering into peoples homes, they're having the
same issues in houston as well, I wonder how happy
they'll be when it's discovered that the local cops are
doing the same in your home town, simply put, if there's
a optential for abuse, it will be abused, this has been
demonstrated time and again...

if they start doing it around my area, I have it under
control with gumbys most recent suggestion

dont they have police that work at night in london? seems
easy to farm that job out at the very least, give each
surveilance officer 12 monitors to watch

Atlanta is also covered in cameras

I talked to the librarian today and she is one of the people who is happy about this. I guess one of the reasons the cameras are going up is because there has been a large increase in home invasions there. The cameras will be watching neighborhoods to try to slow this down. So these cameras wont just be around parks and businesses but in every neighborhood. I would flip out. Thats nuts. Like you said there is nothing to stop them from looking in someones house.
