Even if it did work... I don't run red lights, because I pay attention when I'm driving and I don't want to get killed or kill someone else.

Think about it. The position of the car would have to be at a right angle to the flash in order for the reflection to bounce back into the camera. I'm sure it works to some degree, but not always.

They had some here in Wisconsin, but they got shot up pretty quick by huge and drunken natives very quickly.

I've always wanted to do that. Lay in the woods out of the camera's range with a high powered rifle and just destroy every camera at an intersection. But alas, I don't have a high power rifle and am not willing to risk jail time for that.
