tripping in a group just creates more variables in that type of situation. even if the people are experienced, they may be in need of a harsh lesson. just too chaotic

That sucks....sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel any better I had about 5 people over last night and we all tried Salvia for the first time. None of us broke through no matter how much we smoked, or how long we held it in for. Maybe because we didn't have a torch lighter? Kind of a let down. But hey, I'll try again. Still felt trippy as hell though.

I only like to trip with lots of people if we are outdoors in the woods.  Chaos seems much easier to handle and the vibe is always higher outside in nature. 

Tripping alone indoors however is really wonderful.  :thumbup:

^ me too. the best large group trip i had was up the road from a house where a ton of us lived and we came and went as we pleased. no pressure. just a sunny nice day outside with a bunch of drugs, drums, guitars, juggling toys, and love.

the worst one was a bunch of 15 year olds never done shrooms eating eighths each and just cooped up one night in a house, pissing all over the place and puking and crying and no one really knowing each other. glad i didnt trip that night.

well, a few of them were friends, mostly we were acquaintances. but oddly enough, we are all friends today. except for this one kid (he got naked and kept stroking his limp dick and jumping on my female friend telling her how he loved her and at this one point he's stroking away and scratching his head with his other hand and he's saying how his dad is so awesome and asks us if we think his dad would be proud of him and my friend says: no, of course not, look at you :rofl:) and this other girl (fuckin tweaker stole an ounce from me :sad:).

and, the only kid who DID have a good trip, was the kid whose house it was (his rents were out of town), and his place was a MESS!!

when you say mess i think of a black plastic bags with bottles everywhere and a run to the stores recyling lobby

that house sounded like a disaster i hope yall at least helped clean up the throw up, only time ive done that was cuz me friend couldnt speak english

the piss i got nothin on, a simple "You're in my livingroom" then a couple backwards steps from a houseplant avoided that cleanup

i left the house (i was the only one not tripping) to buy weed, slept at home for 3 hours, and came back to help clean up with a box of donuts and juice :sun:

Thats a fact, you can find it in some psychedelic books also. I especially like trips with three people, its not too one-on-one like 2 is, and less hectic than 4.

With a group of 3, 2 can trip together and one can choose to meditate in another room for a while, a situation that often occurs. Also if theres a bad trip the odds are good, as generally the good trips outnumber the bad 2 to 1 giving some reassurance to the one in trouble. (which often is me)

i love tripping with large groups of people. it is best kept outdoors though, for reasons previously stated. inside, 3 or 4 tops. any more than that, and it gets pretty confusing.

I feel you
newyears eve going into 2007 I had a group of 7 tripping on shrooms in my apt
one got sick and was just completely out of it (was her first time) , one other got really tweaky with symptoms of anxiety, and one other girl went home while peaking. funny enough those two went in one room and kind of stuck the night out while the rest of us all layed in a bed listening to music and had a great time
