Today we were talking about this during my trip. The conclusion we came too was that after 3 people your tripping group will eventually begin to divide like a cell in meiosis or something and you will be left with several smaller groups. If you want to achieve that true synergy between people as concrete entities, I cant imagine going over 3 people, maybe 4 if you all have a strong history together.

I was there. It was, different, to say the least.
Somehow, two hits of acid got lost that were my responsibility so now I owe someone 20 bucks.

i almost always trip alone. the times that i've tripped with others, i didn't say much, so it was basically like being alone.
the mushroom trip tends to be pointed inward, so tripping with people isn't really a thing with mushrooms, imo.

It apparently wasn't lost, someone accidentily took it. Said person ended up taking 5 hits of strong acid.

I bought 6 hits, 2 of which were mine and 4 were spread out over two other people.
The 6 hits came in one strip, which were cut into 3 pieces. He wasn't aware that each piece was two hits.
I really don't care either way, he's paying the other kid 20 bucks.

Really? Most of my trips have been with 5-10 people (although most of them in the last few years have been alone) and I didn't have any problems. You just have to cherry pick your trip-friends

a few years back, me and 3 friends went camping in the so cal coast randomly and ate boomers. only when we got there, we asked the neighbors for like salt or something. and this big shady mother fucker come out and we blaze em out and he starts telling us how he's just gotten out of prison after 8 years or something. we start eating the mushrooms and makes our bitch asses give him some. so he starts tripping with us with his wife and 2 good looking step daughters and thinks its all good to walk with us.
after an hour of violent threats towards us, i decided it was time to split and i grabbed my friends and told them what was up. on the count of three, we booked it. and started chasing us, and we had to jump behind a sand type wall. it was that scene out of lord of the rings. he was standing right above us yelling for luigi (his old prison mate i guess) and wandered off.
after that we had awesome trips, i went out to meditate on a cliff with water crashing in front of my dazzled eyes, water pulsing with vivid colors.
we came back and could hera our neighbor yelling at his family to the point where he got a domestic disturbance called on him. we were giggling ass hell on the floor doing lines of coke.
i learned, among other things, not to trip with shady vibes.

groups are alright for the most part, its just if your in an environment where people are coming and going that sucks.
