I don't think there's any more "falling for his tactics". It's hard to find a man that's fucked up in the head. bin laden's logic doesn't make any sense.

He's attacking us because we're on Muslim land, but he WANTS us to come into the holy land so he can fight us. So which is it bin laden? Do you want us IN or OUT? You complain about our presense, but you keep trying to suck us in to a war you know you wan't win.

I think his goal is really just to embarass us... but I think think bin Laden ever really had a solid plan on what to do 5-10-20 years down the road.

Kinda like Bush, huh? Two morons in a pissing contest.

Insurgencies are notoriously hard to 'win' against.
America is proof of that.
(Plus, Britain was busy with other stuff from what I've heard but anyway...)


The US is good at classical warfare, throwing million dollar bombs and loads of troops at the enemy but I think this is something new for us.

Everyone talks about victory in Iraq and "Do you want us to win?" etc

What does victory even look like?

Haven't these tribes been at war for hundreds of years?

Why don't we just separate the fucking thing into separate countries and be done with it?

I don't pretend to know what bin Laden wants, but I do know that the fact that he calls himself the leader of al-Qaida in Iraq, or whatever, is trivial to anything that we should concern ourselves with. :wink:
