I feel sorry for the poor thing, but it wasn't hilarious to me, like the thread title promised it would be.

What I meant to say is: even though I feel sorry for the cat, it simply was unfunny aside from that.

My own cat could jump onto a 6.5ft high fence from the ground, with its full 14 lbs. Sometimes it jumped off an 8.5 ft high roof onto the paved ground because he was too lazy to go the usual route of small increments. (or liked to make high jumps) When he came down it sounded like *blunk* really scary but he was OK all the time and it was his choice to make.

Cats are quite strong. I don't think this one got anything more hurt than his feline pride for goofing up with a camera running. :smirk:

Yeah, I was going to mention that there is no way this cat is hurt.

There wasn't much of an impact to speak off, and it fell from about 2 feet.

It is fine, I promise.

My cat always jumps from my 8 foot cabinet in my kitchen. Shes jumped off all kinds of things and never got hurt.

Cats are tough, that fall isn't much to a cat imo. Cats can fall two stories out of trees and shrug it off. Yea it got flung down pretty hard but I bet it didn't phase him much.
