A Cat Tale
    #3267969 - 10/23/04 03:42 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

Talking of cats, some years ago I shared a house with a girl who hung liberty caps around the house on cotton threads to dry them. The cat was naturally attracted to it and played with the cotton. I was a bit surprised though when I found it eating a cap and I've no idea how many it had. It then hid under a chair meowing pathetically for 2 hours, then fell into a deep sleep. I half expected it to die but we didn't have the money to take it to the vet. Two days later it suddenly sprung up and was back to its normal self.

wouldn't you think if a cat would know not to eat them? And if it wanted to it would find & eat them outdoors anyway? I dont think it enjoyed the experience. I'm just so glad it didn't die.

Dunno bout your experiance with little animals, but, my cats wil chew up anything like that laying around my house. My potted plants, computer cables, they eat my blindes, my mary jane, and would jump at any chance to bat around some mushrooms hanging from the celling like cat toys.

DaMMiT People, if your pets are experimenting with substances, make em' write trip reports....

Besides the occasional KatNip binges, my kitty is otherwise pretty straight....  But he is interested in hearing trip reports of others....    He asked me the other day about insuflating katnip....  Where the hell is he gettin this shyt...?
