what kind of lid for malt extract mycelium solutio

What kind of lid should one use for the colonization of a liquid mycelium solution using malt extract. A polyfill lid or what? The instructions say to just cover the lid w. foil. Will this be enough to keep contaminants out of the innoculation hole? Thanks!!!

i use a polyfill lid covered with foil with excellent results....you can even suck the liquid thru the polyfill...
