Why do you keep asking questions about Amanita and then say you are interested in psilocybin. Do you know what you are doing???

For real man, research some more before you make a fool of your self. Amanita's do not contain psilocin or psilocybin. Why would you test to find out anyway, if you just read you'll know things like this. One of the main active compound in Amanita is Muscimol(mispelled)and muscarin, I think. I don't know much about Amanitas which is why I don't ingest them, the same reason you shouldn't. Research more, after you do I dout you want to ingest poision, but at least you'll have the knowledge and can confidently decide yourself.

I may be wrong, but I think this is what he is trying to say: If you smoke a deadly mushroom will you die? I think he wants to test whether or not mushrooms are deadly by smoking them. The only problem is you can't test for psilocybin by smoking because it's destroyed.

Oh, I see, you want to test for psilocybes using this method of smoking, and you want to know if you pick the wrong(poisoniss) mushroom, and smoke it, will you die? I'm not sure about that one. I sure wouldn't though. But you can feel minor effects smoking psilocybes. At least I did. I smoked the shroom shake in the bottom of my bag once to test this theory. It took one whole bowl to myself, all it really did was create a stoning type effect, not very physcidelic. You can smoke Amanita cap skin, supposidly it gives mild Amanita effects.

All I was sayin above, was not to approach wild mushrooms with ignorance, it will kill you. Do some research and be confident in what your doing.
