Is 73-74 F ok for colonization on compost? I think it should be around 80 F ,right?

It's a thing called the PF Tek, read it. It will tell you colonization temperatures.

BOYS there enough corners for both of you ,,,
last time i read the brf tek it didn't mention anything about "COMPOST temps"
As far as compost temps go .. i have tryed scotts 3n1 compost and after a week of sitting in the incubator at 81
it's 99 percent covered one week later ....
BUT there was a post couple of days ago when there was a discussion about having a lower temp for the composting cause the poo
produce more heat ...

Where did you read this at. Anyone know if this is true? This could be the reason why my cow poo took forever to show any signs of growth in the casing.
