i thought temps that high were for incubation, not colonization. i've been keeping my jars at a constant 70 deg. i thought thats what the pf tek (or maybe it was the mmgg) said as the norm. temp. shit, if the norm temp is supposed to be in the mid 80's than i probably could have had faster colonization. been two weeks and my dog tucker's full pint jars are maybe 55-70% colonized. then again, he is using full pint jars, so maybe they take 4 weeks of colonization instead of 3. any suggestions?

Heh, colonization is what occurs during incubation. So they are almost synonymous for conversation's sake.
