i use 5 to 10 ccs for my quart jars of grain, depends on how much LC i have on hand

a lot of people will say 10 ccs is way too much and will fuck up the water content but i've never had that problem, on the other hand I do tend to fill up my jars more than 3/4ths of the way

yea i fill my jars 3/4 of the way also. i was thinking 8cc's per jar so i was pretty close to what you use.

1/2 pint? I would probably go with 2 or 3 ccs max, BRF seems to be much more sensitive to water content, just my experience

I use between two and 12 cc's
I only fill up one syringe to limit the amount the disturbance on the lc.

I do not notice a huge differnce in colonization times with grain jars

Half Pints - 1 cc is more then enough inoculation points on all 4 sides of the lids
Pints 2 cc inoculation points on all 4 sides of the lids
Qt - 3-4ccs inoculation points on all 4 sides of the lids

Nah so it colonizes evenly ... the lids have 4 injection holes is what i'm trying to say too much LC will definately fuck up your moisture content.

a quart jar with grains??? So you are injecting grain jars from 4 points? I do not think that I am following you.
You ojnly need to inoculate grain jars from 1 spot. This is what we shake them.
