On the topic of Roswell UFO's, could it have been possible?

The Roswell incident is probably the most controversial topic in the history of UFO sightings, but this video makes a lot of sense. It talks about a fragment of metal that was recovered from the site, this metal would not be used in any type of aircraft or missile. It has a chemical makeup of 99.9% silicon, but it has isomers that are not terrestrial. Very interesting that all the previous owners have died. Any input on this topic. http://xfacts.com/player.swf?player=http://xfacts.com/player.swf&file=http://xfacts.com/tv/scifi.flv

During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.

Don't know anything about this metal, but what totally amazes me (it shouldn't by now) is how Roswell received very little attention until almost 40 years later when the bullshit author of a book on the Bermuda Triangle (filled with innumberable distortions and fallacies) decided to turn his attention to Roswell for another moneymaker.
Such a groundbreaking event if it had any validity whatsoever, would hardly lay dormant for so long.
Not to mention the fact that the debris was allegeldy scattered over a sqaure mile area, yet not one soldier managed to squirrel away even a sliver - until now.
Puh-lease...

yeah, I am very skeptical about ufo's, but this metal was analyzed by professionals supposedly, and it was recovered by a military worker who basically ran off with it keeping it for himself. idk man, I wouldn't be surprised if the government is covering it up and they didn't even find anything that goes beyond a doubt, I mean, the government said it was a balloon crash. Obviously this metal would not be on a balloon. It is very hard to say anything concrete on this topic though. Its all speculation.

1. The Manhattan Project involved more than 5 million people and was the best-kept secret in the history of the world. The alleged 'crash' took place near a top-secret area wherein atomic testing was taking place and high-altitude monitoring balloons were being used.
2. An interstellar craft capable of protecting its occupants from comsic radiation and the inevitable micro-meteor (or larger) strikes would likely be impermeable to atmospheric disturbances.

If the metal can definitely be shown to be non-terran then we may have something. Bear in mind there is no way to link it to Roswell other than someone's say-so unless I am missing something.
