Well like you said, P. Cubensis grows all over Florida cow pasture, specifically the Gulf Coast strain. Panaeolus Copelandia also grows in Florida and is found on cow dung. I don't think lawns or golf couses would support either of these species unless they were enriched with cow manure, and then only maybe. December is a slow month for any mushrooms in florida but they still fruit. Florida supports mushrooms year round. The Lizard,

Hello ZoneSeeker, Yes, Panaeolus Copelandia do grow in Florida all year round like Lizard King said, but being a Florida resident myself, I just walk over them to pick the more powerful Gulf Coast strain of Psilocybe Cubensis. They do grow here if you look for them though. Anyplace you can find the P. Cubensis growing you will also find the Panaeolus Copelandia, all 12 months of the year.------------------ I am not a human being having a spiritual experience, I am a spiritual being having a human experience.

What/s up ~ I live in Panama City Beach, Florida, and it cools down in this part of florida during the winter months. Panama City Beach, Florida, is located in the panhandle on the Gulf Coast. I have only been shroom hunting during the summer months. Is it actually possible to find shrooms particularly panaeolus cyanescens in this part of florida 12 months a year?

I believe that this is the Panaeolus Copelandia species that Lizard King and Shroom_Wizard are talking about. Another image with spiderweb.
Photographs taken today around noon.

Well, I didnt find one fucking mushroom of either the ps. or copelandia species down there and it pissed me off. I looked in a field off exit, I think, 95 of I-95 and I couldnt find anything! When I was down there from 22-28th of December and was staying in Palm Coast (if anyone doesnt know where that is, its about 30 minutes south of St. Augustine). Anyway, with my luck, it was fucking 45 degrees the whole damn time i was there and it only rained for the first three days. I was bored out of my mind and NOT TRIPPING! What the fuck!? What went wrong? I looked all over this field where i usually tend to find them and the only thing i found was 4 unidentified mushrooms growing not out of cow shit, but just out in the middle of nowhere that didnt fit any descriptions. Well, Im back in PA now but im used to no mushies being available here. Everything sucks. . . wasted trip. Fuck Florida in the winter time; its just the same as up north, and that sucks!ZoneSeeker (Stuff sucks when you travel thousands of miles in hope of finding enlightenment and all's you get is some crummy fucked-up T-shirt!)
