Caapi mulch?

This may be a unique question, but I had a thought. Instead of discarding used caapi vine, I was thinking of using it as a mulch for my mimosa plant. Has anyone ever tried this, and is it safe for the plants?

Because of the woody nature of the used vine I wouldn´t recommend that.

But maybe you can throw it in your compostarium and it will eventually turn into humus.

It would be just as good a mulch as any other if you separate the fleshy components from the woody. Mulches used for trees are typically woody- pine bark, etc. You could use the leaf material for smaller plants such as ferns.

Ive used it around my phalaris ive been growing outdoors. Its aesthetically pleasing, and the grasses are healthy.
