I agree PleezR.
fd3000, you seem to like complicating matters???You do realise that those spores are going to spread all over your fruiting chamber anyway.
You`re just fooling yourself into believing it`s actually making a difference.
Also I have never had problems with my casings getting covered with spores???
You don`t have to wait that long to print, let the caps open and print.

Well my last flush of my casing left it completely black when i harvested all the mushrooms. Then in the 2nd flush many of the pins that were covered in spores aborted but i couldnt tell the different because all the mushrooms were black.....

Anyways i did it and it worked great, took be about 3 minutes to get the bibs on all the mushrooms and now my casing layer+new pins are spore free.

If you dont like it dont respond
Fd

Most likely spores are still goign to get all over your grow chamber and cropping surface. The spores are so small and light they are carried by the tiny water particles from having so high of a relative humidity. This is how spores manage to get on the caps of the tallest mushrooms in your crop.

You're killing me. It seems a little silly but innovative none the less. Hey, if it works than what the hell. Use the bib tek to keep your casings and cakes a little cleaner if you want. I'll try to pick mine before they start dropping spores.

Say, can I have some of your purple berries?
Yes, I've been eating them, for six or seven weeks now, haven't got sick once.
