i find myself putting work off until the last minute,
and then letting other things distract me.
how do you stay focused while doing homework?

I can't do unless it's the last possible moment...
I'm such a procrastinator. And the worst thing is I love it.
I get a rush from putting things off.
I do always get them done though, so it's not too bad.

I cannot focus worth shit. I also am a huge procrastinator. I could of gotten alot of work done today but I chose to sit around and smoke. :shrug:

The only thing that matters is that it gets done. The weekends more than make up for the week of stress and shit.

i can only do work at night or right before the class/it's due.

and i cram for quizzes/exams to the max. This was my way of 'figuring out' how to graduate college. My past 3 semesters have been really great.

To focus, tho, when i'm swamped with lots of homework assignments, I make a list of all assignments due soon on a sheet of paper and tape it cloase to my desk on the wall somewhere. Then i just grab a mountain dew or make some coffee and start checkin things off.

haha shit, I just remembered I have a music test tomorrow...
It's for fundamentals of music though, so I'm not too worried about it :cool:

Just sit down and do it. Realize that once you get it done, you'll be free mentally to do whatever you want.

Personally, I hate distracting myself. I just like to get shit done and get it over with. Much less stress this way. You'll end up doing it sooner or later right?

As long as it gets done.

Now there's a huge difference if you get stressed out knowing you have to do things later... then you should obviously take a look at your choices

I'm not too stressed,
just sick of putting things off.
I'll get it done tonight,
but its going to take a few hours.
I have been doing good this quarter,
getting all of my homework done and getting
to classes on time.
I just wish I didn't screw myself by
putting it off til the last minute.
