nothing wrong with that, their definitely not for everybody.
the administration is taking a pretty heavy anti-Greek stance right now, alot of the old mainstays are off campus.
Kappa Sigma is gone, Kappa Alpha is gone, Sigma Alpha Epsilon is gone and Sigma Chi is on the verge.
So basically there are two or three houses left that are worth joining and the rest are just full of assholes

deryl: yes, Knoxville is a pretty shitty, dirty town. Although, UTK has a lot of good programs, so if you're in it for school, and pretty much school only, you're set.

Ecology and Evolutionary bio. Because I wanted to go to school but didn't want some lame useless degree like sociology or english or something. Also, some of the classes are kind of cool and fun (taking reptile/amphibian biology next semester, and primate behavior for example).
Though I highly doubt I will be a scientist. Writing research papers is so not my thing.

I don't have a major...I'm just testing it out really. My next semester is all communications classes; I'm looking to get knowledge and experience with audio production so I can help out my friends when they start getting more gigs.

I'm majoring in psychology, nothing interests me more than the undiscovered regions of the human mind. That and I like the idea of sitting and listening to people talk for $150 an hour.
-------------------- The story goes, or the way that I was told There was a king that always felt too high and then he fell too low And so he called all the wise men to the hall And begged them for a gift to end the rises and the falls But here’s the thing, they came back with a ring It was simple and was plainly unbefitting of a king Engraved in black, it had no front or back But there were words around the band that said Just know: This Too Shall Pass

I hope you're prepared for at least 8 years of school for a decent job in psychology. Psychology was going to be my major freshman year, but upon further research I realized I'd rather spend my life living, not in school.

I'm the same way but I'm more intersted on how the mind works on a molecular level.

I'm not in college yet but my major areas of interest are philosophy, religion, anthropology, visual arts, writing, and music. I'll likely do my undergrad studies as a phil major since it's so related to all the other things I'm interested in.
