Well, all done! They to keep upping the nitrous becuase it was too weak (just as I predictied). The IV kind of put me out to the point where I don't remember the procedure too well. I got 25 5mg Percs, and a mouthfull of blood. How long to I wait before I can brush my teeth? It's all over them .

Post the pics of your extracted teeth. Put a quarter next to them for reference.

They wouldn't let me keep them due to some technicality. I'm like, come on I won't tell anyone. He as least showed them to me. I thought they'd be a LOT longer; looked more like 3/4 of an inch long.
I still can't feel my bottom lip, my chin, or my tongue too well. He said this novacaine lasts a few hours In all, it wasn't NEARLY as bad as I thought it would be. I do remember saying OUCH!! a lot during some of it but I eventually kinda zoned out for a but. The nurses were hot as hell too, which made it a lot easier.

It was funny when the hot nurse opened my shirt to put the electrode thingies on she saw my Austin Powers chest and she's like, "Ohhhh this is gonna hurt like a mother when I pull this off, are you cool?" I just laughed and I was like "I'll be fine... How are my vitals lookin'?" She laughed and went, "They look great!" I love pretty nurses. They ease the tension so much.

Am I supposed to feel holes or pits right where the teeth used to be? I'm terrified of getting dry socket but I've heard that hurts like a bitch. I mean I'm sore but it's not excruciating yet... Do the holes naturally fill in like when you lose baby teeth? I thought the stitches would be sewing up the whole hole but it seems their off to the side.... I guess that's just sewing up the extra cut they made?
Help? Is it supposed to hurt when I swallow?

dam didn't you listen to anything your doc told you before the surgery
suction is bad, expecially straws for drinks!
try not to dislodge any blood clots
do not brush near them for a few weeks
and do the salt water mouth rinse EXACTLY like they tell you, i think its 2-3 times a day....just follow the instructions they gave you to the T, they had good reason when they wrote it up for each step
if they didn't give you instructions ask for a refund :P

Day 3: Out of meds, gums hurt like HELL. Should I get some beer or head straight to the state store?
