about ipods...

does anyone know if you can make a back up of all the music on your ipod on your computer so that when you buy a new ipod you can put all the music you have on the ipod onto the new one?

my library wont accept it from my ipod..

the problem is i bought the ipod and used itunes.. got rid of itunes and then got it again and now i have music from the old itunes and new itunes on my ipod but not both on the computer.

and i'll be buying a new ipod soon... as its getting close to death.

i believe you have to authenticate your itunes, requiring your e-mail and some kind of password. having never bought music though, i can't be 100% for sure.

Up to five computers, even a friends... and unlimited copies on ipods.

Through iTunes, make a BACKUP of your whole library to DVD. Then this'll never happen again. :wink:

Create a smart playlist that only shows the songs you add AFTER you have made your backup... and as you get more music, you'll only have to backup the playlist! Then change the playlist to only show songs after THAT date... etc.

EZ backup!

i just seen a ipod that had alott of dimonds and was gold (or platnum)

and it was a chain. and it worked. i want an ipod like that and the money to buy one 10 times over.
