Why would an abductee have superior knowledge of a crafts propulsion system? Imagine that you pickup somebody that has never seen a car before. Do you think they will somehow have more insight into how a car engine works than anybody else that hasn't seen a car before? Beyond, "It made noise and went really fast", I don't think they could offer much in the way of engine design. I'm not claiming the guy didn't get picked up by aliens; how would I know? Instead, I am claiming that the act of riding in an alien ship does not magically make one an expert in alien ship propulsion systems.

Eh? I don't need to understand "hydrodynamics reverse osmosis" to know that riding on an airplane doesn't magically give me an understanding of how jet engines work.
