It's a common misconception that there are more frivolous lawsuits than ever. However, America was actually far more litigious around the time of its founding.

well i dont know much about that long ago, however i can almost guarantee you that the lawsuits are more ridiculous now than ever.

EVERYONE tries to sue for ANYTHING anymore.

I wasn't even implying the fact that this lawsuit is frivolous, but good point. I was merely alluding to the fact that famous people are protected so heavily it's ridiculous.
