Compost recipes!

Hey all, if you've composted before and know of a killer (or simply a workable) mix, you should let the rest of us in on the loop. I do know that the commercial composters use chicken manure to raise the Nitrogen content and then certain types of straw are used for carbon material etc.
What's even better is a simple recipe with a good tek on how to employ the compost.
Thanks in advance!
PS- Here's one I found, though I don't think this is such a good "tek" (no offense Agar.)

I know, I do get to involved sometimes. My first experience was a good example. Any way, I just haven't seen a whole lot of compost information. I do have a book which describes how to do garden compost but I just wanted to see how well mycology and compost will interface. I know it must be harvested at a certain time or else there will be ammonia concentrations or the lack of something critical.
There are compost basics that I would like cleared up. Also this info will benefit the Newbian army. Compost is cheap/free, it's better than grain and you can make a mountain of the stuff. I just think we should be talking more about compost. Let's do it, huh?
