Torrent clients causing critical errors!

Utorrent worked for a while, then I started to get critical error messages on a blue screen after several minutes of running the program. Fine, ok, there are other torrent clients out there. So I just downloaded Azureus and after 5 minutes of running that program I get that damned message again. I've got Windows XP. Any idea what's up here?
