Question About PENIS ENVY

Hi everyone Im tring to grow penis envy for the first time. Ive already mixed 40lbs. of h-poo with fullly colonized rye grass seed. Im trying to be supper careful of my cleanliness.. but I guess Im just asking if anyone else has had good luck with this varity and if theres any tricks to use while grownig - thank you

the only specific tip i know of for penis envy is the correct time to harvest since the caps form so differently than other strains. other than that they should share the exact same growth parameters as all other psilocybe cubensis strains.

is this your first time with penis envy or your first time all together? 40lbs sounds like quite a lot for a first time.

i do not know why everyone wants to grow penis envy. It is a shitty strain.
Psilocybe cubensis Penis Envy

Cultivation Difficulty: Easy
Potency: Moderate to Potent
Substrate: Dung, Straw, Various grains
Colonization/Fruiting Temperatures: 84-86F/74-78F

A low yielding novelty strain of Psilocybe cubensis that looks disturbingly like a circumcised penis. Anecdotal reports are of higher than average psilocybin activity, a trend noted in other low yielding mutated strains.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

pink elephants are supposed to be pretty potent psilocybes. if you want just plain more potent mushrooms then id suggest looking into pans, azures, and weilli's if you live anywhere around georgia.

I've never heard of this strain. Maybe you're confusing the Pink Buffalo and Thai Elephant Dung strains.

Hmm, a shitty strain? Well maybe it doesn't do well as a casing, but from what I've seen of penis envy invitro bags, they look like a very good performing strain. If you've never looked at Monstermitch's pe grow bags, he's shows a damn good example of PE at it's best. I don't think I've ever seen denser, meatier stem from any other cubensis than I have from PE.

I love this strain..hopefully you got the classic strain and not the hybrid...it isnt known to make hella pins or massive amounts of fruits, but good sized fruits, and yes really good potency IME. Also the blue meanie substrain cube is one of those oddly potent regular cubes FYI.

Azures aren't similar to PE or cubes in general at all. Can't say I've heard of anyone successfully cultivating weilii, indoors anyway.
