Hey I just birthed my 3 t.c. cakes into a Sterilite 58gt/14.5gal container. I'm using a coolmist humdifier I picked up today and also about an Inch of peritilte too. I have the cakes sitting of a wire mesh rack about 1/2inch above the perilite. I watered down the perilite a little too much and there is a little standing water in it, is this bad? Does create a haven for contams to bread?

That's ok... I use maybe a little too much water but ive never had a problem with it. I think adding a humidifier is overkill for sure. Add a slash of peroxide to the water. I use only perlite,with good results
